The Hardiman are delighted to launch The Hardiman – An Amazing Story by William Henry. This book celebrates the history of one of the most iconic buildings in Galway and the people whose dedication and loyalty came together to make the Hardiman the magnificent hotel that it is today. Detailing the history of the hotel, from when it opened its doors to welcome visitors to Galway with a luxurious experience, to the strong military presence the hotel had during the years of political unrest in in the early twentieth century in Ireland, to the myriad of important figures who have stayed there, including actors, artists, royalty, sportsmen and politicians. The ground floor is step free via the main entrance via a ramp and a double door with a small ramp. There are accessible toilet facilities on the ground floor. The Oyster Bar is step free via a double door with a small ramp. There are accessible toilet facilities on this level. MacNeill’s Pub is step free from the internal entrance. This is accessed from the lobby to the lower floor, through a door, down a ramp and through another door. There are no accessible toilet facilities on this level.
There are four accessible parking spaces on Eyre Square outside the Bank of Ireland, 5 minutes from the venue at the opposite end of Eyre Square.

There is no Loop system. HEPA filter will be in use
