Joey Connolly grew up in Sheffield and now works in London as Director of Faber Academy. His first collection of poems, Long Pass, was published by Carcanet in 2017, and was followed by The Recycling in May 2023. He received an Eric Gregory Award from the Society of Authors in 2012.
