Join Padraig Regan, Galway Arts Centres’ inaugural Writer in Residence for a curator talk and poetry reading at 19:00. The gallery will remain open until 21:00.
Padraig Regan
Padraig is a poet and essayist based in Belfast, with interests in the relationship between writing and the visual arts. Their debut collection of poems Some Integrity was published in 2022 by Carcanet and shortlisted for the Forward Prize for Best First Collection. Their second book, The Matter, is forthcoming in 2026, also from Carcanet. From 2022-2024, they were a Fellow Commoner in Creative Arts and in 2025, they were a Burgess Fellow at the Centre for New Writing, University of Manchester.
