Ships in Full Sail: A Life in Music

The Arts Council, in association with Cúirt International Festival of Literature and Galway Music Residency, presents The Laureate for Irish Fiction Annual Lecture.  The Lecture will be delivered by Colm Tóibín, Laureate for Irish Fiction.

Colm Tóibín is the third Laureate for Irish Fiction and was awarded the honour by the Arts Council earlier this year. This is his first annual lecture in his role as Laureate. The Laureate for Irish Fiction promotes Irish literature nationally and internationally and encourages the public to engage with high quality Irish fiction.

The main auditorium is step free with accessible seating and
accessible toilet facilities. Please let the box office know of any
requirements so that they can assist with seating. There are two
accessible parking spaces on Waterside immediately by the
venue and a further two spaces on Corrib Terrace. There is a
Loop System in every auditorium. There is a Fresh Air Distribution
System. All events at the Town Hall Theatre will be captioned.
